End the Maxine Carr witchhunt

The Sunday People runs a story claiming that Maxine Carr is pregnant.

They report: "A source said: 'The birth of Maxine's child will mean her lawyers going to court and getting the anonymity order extended to cover the baby too.

'The child will get the same protection as Carr for life - and we will all be paying for it.

'If she has another six we'll be coughing-up to hide them too. It's not the kid's fault but it's still a disgrace.'"

Now, if Maxine Carr is pregnant, then, of course, the Mary Bell Order must be extended to her offspring.

But who is this "source"? We all know that newspapers make up quotes by "onlookers" and that very often "a close friend" is actually the person themselves.

We can be sure that the "source" here is not Maxine Carr but let's get a sense of proportion. All Maxine Carr did was tell lies: she did not take part in the murder of Holly and Jessica - she was hundreds of miles away when it happened.

Despite some of the red tops' best efforts she is not comparable to Myra Hindley and those papers must stop running this dangerous nonsense.

A sane view point, unfortunately not shared by those harrassing people out of their homes and egged on by the idiots who write in 'news'papers.
