Saddam Hussein was executed at 6am UK time today. President Bush has issued a statement on the hanging but from his co-toppler Tony Blair there has been nary a word. This from the man who felt the need to comment on the death of Frank Sinatra even though he had never met him and confessed that he was not a fan.
Still there's always time for some words. After all it took 1 hr 45 mins for Tony Blair to comment publicly on death of John Peel; 2 hrs to comment publicly on death of Jill Dando; 3 hrs 20 mins, to comment publicly on death of Diana, Princess of Wales; 7 hrs to comment publicly on death of Frank Sinatra; 12 hrs to comment publicly on death of George Harrison and an incredible four days to comment publicly on deaths of tens of thousands of tsunami victims.
This is my second blog and it includes anything that want to sound off about - politics, humour, sport, television, films, newspapers, books, etc, etc. The first blog http://pauldonnelley.blogspot.com is purely about politics. Enjoy - and your feedback is always appreciated.
